Abstract
Using an open-source website platform is a cost-effective and highly customizable way to give the library an online presence beefier than simply boosting hours on Google. In this context the paper emphasizes on advantages of using open-source solutions: flexibility, cost savings from proprietary software maintenance and ability to customizing platform based on library requirements. Libraries can employ open source technologies to develop appealing, user-friendly websites as the fronts of their collections and programs for users.
