Abstract

Using a sample of private Iraqi commercial banks, this research aims to determine how IFRS7's fair value declaration impacts the credibility of financial reports prepared for the Iraqi market. There has to be a connection between the features of accounting data and its intended use if it helps guide investments correctly, make reasonable decisions, and determine the response rate when comparing bank performance. A unique scale was used to expose the fair worth, including a series of inquiries in the four financial accounts. The three stages of fully informed information disclosure partly revealed and concealed information, and disclosure was each assigned a w, eight, and a specific grade (1). Degree following the standardization of the five disclosure ratios derived from financial statements to eliminate inconsistencies in their calculation methods and achieve homogeneity. To determine the proportions and values of the research variables before discovering statistical associations, we relied on the appropriateness and faithful representation measure to assess the quality of the financial reports. As for the variables, you can check if the data is usually distributed using the One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test; if the time series is predictable, you can use the unit-roots test; and if the estimation error is not normally distributed, you can use the standard deviation of the estimation error T-test One-Sample and the Error of the Estimate: Std, as well as the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Fair value disclosure is the independent variable in this research, while quality of financial reports is the mediating variable. They are positively related to one another.
