Abstract

This study explores the impact of government intervention and support on madrasas, traditional Islamic educational institutions, with a focus on how these interventions influence educational quality, curriculum, social integration, and economic outcomes. Historically, madrasas have included a wide range of subjects alongside religious education, and recent government efforts aim to modernize these institutions further. This paper discusses how the government support and modernization in Madrasa changed the face of Islamic education in India.
