Abstract
Higher education in India is changing and growing quickly, yet there are still issues with quality and comprehensive student development. This article explores the critical role that educators play in raising the standard of instruction and encouraging all-around student development. It highlights the necessity of creative teaching strategies that combine skill development with a values-based education. In order to improve academic achievements through student-cantered techniques, continued professional development, and technology utilisation, teachers play a critical role as facilitators, mentors, and role models. In addition, the study emphasises how value-based education fosters moral conduct, social responsibility, and emotional intelligence while demonstrating how educators may adapt their curricula to meet changing standards and the demands of the community.
