Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree to which school principals practice roaming management and its impact on developing the professional competence of educational counselors. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed to collect data, and the study population consisted of (141) educational guides. The study reached the following results:

  2. There is an effect of the degree of management practice by roaming in developing the efficiency of educational counselors professionally, and that the degree of management practice by roaming explains the amount of (57.5%) of the discrepancy in the professional development of educational


The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which were: that the Ministry of Education work to enhance the degree of management practice by roaming and the level of development of the educational counselors’ competence professionally by more than the average situation that it is now, by increasing the awareness of educational counselors, and increasing their participation in decision-making And holding training and educational courses that push them towards loyalty and better performance, and thus improve the educational process.
