Abstract

This paper analyses how India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 addresses inclusion, social justice, and equity in school education. It highlights key measures such as flexible curricula, the Gender Inclusion Fund, Special Education Zones, and digital access initiatives aimed at bridging gaps for marginalized groups, girls, and Children with Special Needs (CWSN). While NEP 2020 outlines a progressive vision, its success depends on effective implementation, adequate funding, and strong local support to translate policy goals into real social justice and equal opportunity for all learners.
