Transformative Training And Development Practices: Cultivating An Engaged Learning Environment In Higher Education
Main Article Content
Abstract
An engaged learning environment in higher education can only be achieved with transformative training and development approaches. This research focuses on examining how faculty development initiatives, leadership training, and new pedagogical techniques affect student involvement and learning results. Traditional approaches need to be revised to develop engaging and inclusive learning environments due to the fast development of educational technology and the varied student populations. This study uses a mixed-methods approach with 250 participants to examine how administrators and teachers may be motivated to change their ways of teaching via well-structured development efforts. The goal is to see whether this changes student motivation, critical thinking, and teamwork. Results show that classrooms with empowered teachers who engage in continuous professional development and reflective practices have a more engaging, welcoming, and encouraging environment for students of all backgrounds and stages of lifetime learning.
