Abstract

This research examines the behavior and attitudes of Saudi tourists towards domestic tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study aims to understand the factors influencing citizens' preferences for domestic tourism, their motivations, and their demand for domestic tourism services. The research utilizes survey data collected from a sample of families and university students in Riyadh. The findings highlight the importance of promoting domestic tourism as an industry that contributes to the national economy and prevents the outflow of money outside the country. The study recommends comprehensive tourism planning, raising tourism awareness, supporting family-oriented tourism activities, improving tourism services, ensuring affordability, and encouraging research in the field of tourism.
