Abstract

Information communication technology is the technology that provides complete knowledge about any event or incident happening anywhere in the world to any person.  This technology has accelerated the pace of development process of education in the society and has given a new direction to teaching in educational institutions. Information and Communication Technology is not only improving the quality of education, but is also ensuring availability of best educational material for classrooms and is also improving the field of adult education. Due to its presence on the web server all the time, no school or student will be deprived of the benefits of education through the internet. The objective of the presented research work is to do a comparative study of the problems faced by the students of commerce faculty studying in government and private schools at senior secondary level in the use of information and communication technology. To conduct a comparative study of the problems faced by the students of commerce faculty studying in government schools at senior secondary level in the use of information and communication technology. To conduct a comparative study of the problems faced by the students of commerce faculty studying in private schools at senior secondary level in the use of information and communication technology. In the presented research work, 600 students of senior secondary level were selected randomly. A self-made questionnaire was prepared for data collection. Conclusions have been obtained using t-test statistics by formulating null hypotheses to analyze the data. The findings obtained from the research are as follows - A significant difference was found in the problems faced by the students of commerce faculty studying in government and private schools at senior secondary level in the use of information and communication technology. No significant difference was found in the problems faced by students of commerce faculty studying in government schools at senior secondary level in the use of information and communication technology.
