Abstract

To develop sustainability in the present global context, it is necessary to have a sophisticated awareness of linked difficulties and to collaborate on activities that transcend language and cultural borders. Within the scope of this research, the key role of the English language in furthering global sustainability is investigated. This study examines the role that English plays as a catalyst for growth via the perspective of linguistic empowerment, cross-cultural communication, and educational activities. Having a strong command of the English language facilitates linguistic empowerment, which is a fundamental component of global involvement. Because English is the lingua franca in international commerce, science, and diplomacy, people from all over the globe can participate in collaborative activities and contribute to the discussion on sustainability when they have a strong command of the language. The purpose of this study is to shed light on the importance of linguistic inclusion, using English as a facilitator, when it comes to developing policies and strategies that handle complex challenges that span international borders.
