Use Of E-Learning Skills By School Principals In During Covid-19 Pandemic In Jordan

Abstract
This study aimed to find out the degree to which directors and principals of governmental basic schools in the city of Salt use e-learning skills from their point of view, and the study sample consisted of (55) principals, who were chosen randomly during the first semester of 2020-2021, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the curriculum was used. Descriptive, where the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (56) paragraphs, which were divided into four domains of e-learning skills (e-learning support, electronic skills, use of networks and the Internet, managers' use of e-learning skills) and their validity and reliability were confirmed. To treat the data statistically, arithmetic averages, standard deviations, and a (t) test were used. The results of the study showed that the degree to which school principals used e-learning skills was moderate, and the results also showed statistically significant differences in the degree to which managers use e-learning skills attributable to gender, and the results showed that there are no Statistically significant differences in the degree of use due to the variable of academic qualification and experience, and in light of the results of the study, recommendations related to the results were developed.

The importance of the study stems from the distinctive role played by the school principal in the educational process, and the results of this study are expected to contribute to achieving the following: Determining a list of e-learning skills to be used by school principals in Jordan. And Informing officials in the Ministry of Education in diagnosing the current reality of using e-learning skills from principals of schools for the basic stage, and addressing the shortcomings, if any, in order to employ these skills in better activating the educational process.
The results of the study showed that the degree of school principals' use of e-learning skills was moderate, and the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the degree of principals' use of e-learning skills due to gender, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of use due to the variable Academic qualification and experience
