Analytical Study on Impact of Social Media on Mental Health of Generation Z in Selective Cities of Ahmedabad City

Abstract
This research explores the consulting services offered by Head Quest HR Solutions LLP, a reputed HR consulting firm based in Ahmedabad, in addition to analyzing the effects of social media usage on the mental health of Generation Z. The dual objectives of this research are to analyze the efficiency of HR consulting services in enhancing organizational performance and to evaluate how social media affects the mental well-being of young adults. The study on Head Quest HR Solutions LLP combines both structured customer surveys and qualitative inputs from semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders, hence implementing a mixed-methodology for the research. The findings indicate that Head Quest HR Solutions LLP makes different tailored approaches to enhancing employees' engagement, talent management, and organizational development. Despite challenges such as measuring long-term impact and aligning recommendations with client culture, the company has proven adept at delivering value-added services. Suggestions are provided to further enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR consulting practices.
The section on Generation Z's mental health uses data from the respondents from Ahmedabad to discuss correlations between the frequency of usage of social media and anxiety levels, as well as self-esteem. Chi-square analyses combined with demographic breakdowns identify patterns and trends in social media habits and their psychological effects. The role of platforms such as Instagram, Whats-app, and Snap-chat are studied in detail to give practical insights into how they influence mental health outcomes.
