Abstract

Coumarin belongs to benzopyrones group, in which a benzene ring is attached to a pyrone nucleus. In the present study, data is collected to demonstrate the biological and pharmacological activities (like anticancer, anticoagulant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, Antioxidant etc.) of coumarin derivatives. On the evidence of various researches, we found that Coumarin derivatives perform the valuable function as therapeutic agents in a range of diseases.
