The Impact of Quality Management Tools & Techniques and Innovative Emerging Technology on Smes Quality Orientation and Firm Performance

Abstract

A review of literature on Quality-Orientation (QO) and Firm performance (FP), impact of Quality Management Tools and techniques (QMTT), Innovativeness and emerging technology (InnovET) usage on Quality- Orientation (QO) of firm and Firm performance. It identifies the importance of usage of tools and techniques for each principal of Quality Orientations for consistent firm performance and usage of innovative emerging technology for firm competitiveness. We also review the generalizability of QMTT and InnovET as mediating and moderating constructs on firm performance. Future implications on quantification of QO for further research.
