These paintings, found on temple walls, homes, and public spaces, narrate stories of Lord Krishna, who is central to Braj's spiritual heritage. This research explores the religious symbolism, themes, and evolution of Braj’s wall paintings, emphasizing their role in shaping the region's cultural identity and religious journey. Braj, also known as Brajbhumi, holds immense religious significance as the birthplace and playground of Lord Krishna. The wall paintings of
Braj are not just decorative art forms but serve as visual narratives of religious and cultural stories. These paintings have evolved over centuries, reflecting the spiritual journey of the region’s inhabitants and their devotion to Lord Krishna.
